Thanks! People think California is all big cities and ocean but I think our forests and rivers are by far the coolest part.

I spent part of my childhood there! I was near San Diego though. We did visit the north of the state before moving though, the redwood forest we visited is probably part of why I came to love nature so much.

The climate near Monterey is still my ideal though, wish it wasn’t expensive as fuck or I’d try and move there tbh.

Do you mind if I ask what type of dog Morgan is? Can’t get over that cute doggy smile lol

I also love the redwoods. Here’s a bonus picture of Morgan next to one for scale lol:

I’ve only been to Monterey once since moving up here but I agree. I can’t even afford to look at the houses there.

I get asked all the time but I have no idea. He’s obviously some sort of terrier mix but he was a rescue that someone had left in a cage at a park so I don’t even know for sure how old he is, let alone the actual breed. I’ve talked to a few other people who have very similar looking dogs and they also have no real idea what theirs is either.

Awesome pic! Thanks for sharing it.

If you ever get a chance to go to the aquarium it’s worth it, it’s the best one I’ve been to, and also does more to be humane than other ones cough cough, Atlanta and their fucking whale shark abuse

He looks like a dog from an old painting, in a good way! Good on you for rescuing, I be he loves his new forever home.
