    FTA:

People mocked her on social media for turning to homophobic insults because she couldn’t win the actual argument. Other people pointed out that Boebert isn’t even attending her own son’s court hearings – while making time to attend Donald Trump’s trial in New York – so maybe she shouldn’t be mocking other people’s parenting.

She’s just a horrible human being all the way down

This isn’t “backfiring”. This is Boebert losing a Twitter fight, which is funny, but backfiring is when your actions have actual negative consequences for you. Her base doesn’t care.

Her base may not care, but she can’t win an election with only the votes from her base. Moderates and independents do care and make the difference in who wins.

She moved from a pink district to a dark red one. Her challenge right now is winning the primary and not getting labeled as a carpet bagger.

Maybe she’s envious of his restraint. I hear he’s sat through an entire musical without jerking someone off.

It would have been easy to joke about Pete buttiboughtbyboeing, without being anti-gay. But it would require not being anti-gay

Yeah, if you look up the term “failing upwards”, there’s just a picture of him smiling his most obnoxious smile.

Incidentally, the same thing happens when you look up “regulatory capture”.
