Paraphrasing his psychotic post that they are discussing in this article: “Bullets are flying, the war has begun, the Immigrant Problem must be brought to a final solution!”

Just today I have read about Republicans calling immigrants “animals” and “illegal human locusts,” and now Trump is calling for a “final solution” to the “Immigrant Problem.” This is straight up Nazism, right out in the open, and we’ll all suffer if they are given power.

To be clear, those were my words paraphrasing his post. Read his words. They exude Hitler energy in that post, and encourage behavior in others like you describe.

Edit to add the post in question:

      Trump doing a pre-wartime Hitler

This guy was liberal…however…it’s not confirmed he actually fired a bullet (or was even there for Trump…I’m not convinced it wasn’t just Florida man sleeping in the bushes)

“Liberal” in the sense that he supported Ukraine, but he also voted for Trump and owned automatic rifles.

No political party or ideology has the market cornered on crazy, but one party has nominated an insane dictator as their leader and candidate. One party repeatedly spreads lies and conspiracy theories, challenges science and rational thought, and encourages fringe ideology for the purposes of profiting from chaos.

This was a white, Christian gun nut whose social media history paints a picture of a disillusioned Trump supporter with delusions of grandeur. Calling him “liberal” is a gross oversimplification.

Source for him being a long time registered republican?

As far as I can tell from here, this guy seems all over the place. He voted for Trump in 2016 but later regretted it. He supported Sanders in 2020, but also Gabbard in 2020 and then Vivek Ramaswamy in 2024. He shows strong support for Ukraine, but he supported Covid conspiracies as late as 2023. Multiple felonies, many of which firearm related, some of which related to theft and traffic violations.

It’s not like I can say I know the guy, but I get the sense that he has severe undiagnosed mental illness, which is perhaps more important than his exact political leaning.

I stand corrected, he is not a long time registered Republican but did vote for Trump. Still, nothing to say he is a “liberal” in my opinion, Ukraine is not a partisan issue except for US providing our old supplies/ weapons

So they’ve had two Republican voters try and assassinate the Republican nominee for president while they’ve be spouting of about political violence as the answer but yeah, it’s the Democrats fault.

I’m not a fan of this point of view because I don’t think we fully understand the motives of either shooter. The first’s motive seems ambiguous, at best. It’s too soon to know for the second. You could technically call them Republican voters based on social media history, but I heard the second shooter became disillusioned with Trump sometime after 2016, which is why I feel like comments like this are leading us into a direction we aren’t yet ready to go. Either way, people want to pin these events on a political motive and in the end they may be no more politically motivated than some of the clearly apolitical school shootings.

I blame Trump for his own outcome though. To shit on victims of gun crime and to shit on everybody in general in such a public space, for the President of the United States of all things, is not going to end well for anybody.

Whatever they were, they weren’t leftist radicals or even Democratic superfans taking political inspiration from establishment candidates like Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. That’s the important part. We don’t know what their actual motive was, but there’s no indication Democrats using disapproving language had any realistic impact.

We can keep an open mind without accepting their implausible narrative.

Well of course it’s going to get worse. One of the parties will not allow even moderate, reasonable gun legislation. Every former Trump supporting loon with a grudge can get a gun with no problem.

Simple, he should just buy some guns for protection!

Thoughts and prayers if he gets killed.

That’s how it works, right? European here.

“THE WORLD IS LAUGHING AT US AS FOOLS…”

My favorite part is when he gets something so insanely wrong that it spins full circle and he gets it right anyway, just for completely the wrong reason.

In 2015 the night he announced 2 of his supporters beat a homeless man with a pipe and urinated on him. They turned to the camera and said “trump 2016”. He took days and more than one interview to condemn them. This was before he realized he could lie and misdirect these thing.

hilarious. there is only one side where the politicians and the media talk violence and its not the left. yeah violence is talked about by individuals but not ones holding office or part of non extreme left leaning media.
