All they had to do was create an app on par with 3rd party apps, rollout ads in their API, and then display less ads on their own app. Once enough people transition, you can turn the ads back to what you were planning.
That requires insight, planning, and paying engineers to make something usable.
Spez couldn’t read a room if his life depended on it.
An immensely informative and entertaining read. I’ll check that site out more in the future.
It’s pretty ironic that a page about bad UX, specifically en mobile, contains a 99 page slidedeck that I can’t zoom in to read on mobile…
I’m shocked that the author’s first language is supposedly English.
