Got it for a (I think) steal around 400€ for the 45mm GPS.

Actually also got a question. How can I use the sleep function for naps? Because I slept more than that. Anyways this is cool!

The most deep sleep mine has ever recorded is about 40 minutes … 2 hours is impressive! What’s your secret? 😂

The two obvious ones are more physical activity, less stress.

Intermittent fasting might give you good results for increased deep sleep. Try eating in a smaller timewindow – e.g. stop eating ~5 hours before you go to sleep, and have breakfast later in the day.

smart that you got a basic case, I know people say that makes the watch look bad…but in my experience I get more for when I trade it in as it looks new. I’m not afraid to use a case on my AWS 8 at all

I have the galaxy watch active 2, I’m thinking of switching to Apple just for the watch because of heart health issues.

Buy Auto Sleep app. The default Apple Sleep is garbage. My $20 Huawei smart band can track sleep at any time. Auto Sleep does the same. Just install and forget. However, its sleep stage is dependent on Apple Sleep app which requires bedtime. Documentation says it needs Sleep Focus enabled during your bedtime but for some reason it works even if it’s just added bedtime schedule, not Sleep Focus.

I heard about this app but I heard some bad things like that the tracking is not accurate or as accurate as the standard one? Idk but I might buy it.

I used it for a while but didn’t like it. The sleep tracking is not that much accurate. Sleep tracking devices like Oura, and Smart Watches tracks sleep stages with 50-60% accuracy, my doctor told this who works at sleep clinic. Apple and Polar devices has the best sleep accuracy.

Yea. I bought autosleep and was not satisfied with it. But that is only my experience about it. Even with autosleep app the true sleep stages etc. are quite far away from truth, save your money. The default is good enough.

edit: if you want to record your snoring and possible sleep apnea sounds then it might be good for you. But sleep apnea can also be silent like in my case.

Pillow is the one for me if you want to track naps, writes them directly into the health app as well

i like the pillow app way better than the official sleep app, it tracks your sleep automatically. i have fallen asleep on plenty times after lunch while watching tv and somehow pillow always registered it. i use the free version btw

AutoSleep works for naps. It costs $5.99, but I like the fact that it’s not a subscription like almost every other app out there.
