I wonder if Gary Neville will lead the charge into investigating the sales, if they happen. The same way he did with Chelsea selling 2 players to the Saudi League.

Varane is injury prone but to say that Casemiro is washed up is hilarious. Can’t be a stand out when the whole team is under performing especially in a spot light defensive mid. Feels like Casemiro is in no man’s land with no help and they expect him to stop everything on his own.

There are rumors about Antonio Silva. But Benfica tend to sell for high, so the wallet is gonna bleed.

      Absolutely no idea about DM.

I dunno if this makes me (and any other Utd fans) feel any better, but we were never getting either of those two. Rice was a pretty long shot all things considered, and Kim would never have chosen us over first team football at BuLi champs Bayern.

It’s a sad state of things, but United have not been serious contenders for ages now. We shouldn’t be trying to lure in big names with even bigger wages. Our wage structure is already fucked up beyond repair, and we only seem to be making it worse.

Kane would’ve only gone to people not in direct competition with Spurs i.e City. Levy wouldn’t have ever sold Kane to a PL rival. It was more wishful thinking on our end. And looking at how shambolic our team currently is, in retrospect it was a great decision by Kane not to come to OT.

            The problem wasn’t money 100-150m

But people questioned his age 29, this a guy who is never injury and doesn’t relay on athleticism

            Could play till 38-40

The problem was that United wouldn’t get him if Levy could decide it (so this summer) and then they would still’ve been in a hard competition with Real, Bayern and other clubs (if he would’ve gone on a free).

I hope we start from scratch, similar to Arsenal and Liverpool. Just start building a team for the future even if we finish 8th or 10th or whatever. That’s the only way to ensure a stable future.

Because he clearly took the job after being told to clear out the high earners in the squad. It’s not a coincidence that the 5 top earners when he joined (Ronaldo, DDG, Sancho, Casemiro, Varane) are all either being sold, exiled or terminated

Bollocks, there’s no agenda to get rid of the high earners without obvious season.

Sancho is SHIT. Lazy, underperforming and did nothing for his entire time here. And his attitude clearly stinks.

De Gea did not suit any modern team and it’s shown by the fact he’s still without a club.

Ten Hag repeatedly said he wanted to work with Ronaldo but with no pre season he rotated him, Ronnie didn’t like it and went crying to Piers Morgan. Ten Hag didn’t push him out, Ronnie jumped.

Case is 31 and having a bad season. Varane is 30 and injury prone. Not exactly ground breaking to be thinking about potential exits for these players

Right, it’s just a complete conspiracy that the Glazers who want to save money employed a manager who allowed his best players to be sold at Ajax for profit and are having him replace all the high earners with lower earners. This is all just one big coincidence to you is it?

It’s crazy how our fans shit on the Glazers while supporting every action of theirs lmao. If it’s just about performance why aren’t Antony or Rashford being pushed out? If it’s about injuries why isn’t Shaw being pushed out? If it’s about having a “bad season” why are all the players on lower wages getting away with it?

If you think any serious club keeps McTominay and Maguire only to sell Varane and Casemiro then I just don’t know what to tell you at this point

Because he doesn’t know how to man manage at a level beyond the school playground. Management is all about push and pull but he seems to have an approach where he wants everyone to be a little boy. Compare how he manages to how Ancelotti gets the best out of his players. Pep and Klopp are both annoying demanding fuckers but seem to avoid falling out with their best players

Have you not watched Varane this season? He has not been up to par. Evans has outplayed him at the age of 38. He was benched for being below standard and Maguire and Evans have stepped up. This is not a slight at EtH’s man management, but an exhibition of it

Yes, he has been terrible, especially that Copenhagen game. Many Man U fans were questioning Ten Hag’s decision to leave him out of the starting XI before that though. I think Casemiro was the more puzzling omission, but maybe that was due to him not being fit?

I’m not saying it’s Ten Hag’s fault, but it does seem like there is something going on there. Maybe I am talking out of my ass but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Ten Hag doesn’t want to play him or Maguire on the left side. Maguire’s been in reasonable form so he’s benched Varane. Getting dropped in big games for Evans prob hurts Varane.

But all that being said it’s just speculation, not long ago we heard reliable stories saying Varane accepted Ten Hag’s decisions to not play him, now the gutter stories saying he was fuming with it.
