Looked for American Arsenal players and found this!
Idk why but ye olde depression has been being a bitch again 🙃 le Arsenal doing good is always something that cheers me up tho
@Astrealix @throbbingpens well hopefully you’re in for a whole season of happiness with three months of afterglow to follow.
I try not to let my mood be dictated by Arsenal results, but I can’t help but be happy after we play well…
Yeah I mean was kinda hard to be down after Nelson made millions of people cream themselves
It sometimes comes in waves. So if you are able to “ride the wave”, it passes eventually :)
Ben Jacobs (iirc the shit one) says Kudus is “one to watch”, apparently.
I think Mokbel broke the story a few days back.
I’m way more excited about Kudus than I was about Diaby, he gave me big Pepe vibes.
Fully agree, I think Partey and Timber might be influential in getting Kudus to sign. Again, he is another midfielder/forward. My preference would be for an outright striker, but I do prefer his playing style compared to Diaby.
everyone keeps using that photo of Moussa Diaby in which he’s smirking like an edgy 11-year-old and it makes me furious lol
Imagine a pre-season friendly in an actual footballing nation like Argentina or somewhere it’s vastly popular like South Asia(Indian subcontinent to be particular). I know it wouldn’t be profitable but feels-bad-man.jpg
It’d be so much more exciting than a crowd that prefers to sit down and clap from the stands.
We need some departures in this transfer window. Holding, Pepe, Trusty, Runarsson, Elneny maybe even Balogun and Nketiah. I’d be sad to see Nelson and ESR leave, they’re my favorite players, but Edu needs to be a proactive in finding suitable places to transfer these players to.
would be super harsh if Mikel lets Reiss go after the new contract. Reckon he’s staying for rotation in cup games and possibly a super sub for league games.
True, I didn’t really consider that. I just think there will be financial pressure in the months to come if there aren’t departures. We don’t want demand to dry up. If we’re financially constrained before the next transfer window, we might miss out on an available striker or a quality center back.
Nelson I think will play backup LW like he did at Hoffenheim with Trossard seeming to now be a left 8. Which makes sense because I always felt he struggled to offer the width Martinelli did on the wing, a completely different kind of player.
