Come across a few different aspect ratios, however 5760x1080 seems to be for rare idiots like me with 3-27" curved. My current setup is not ideal, but modding my desk today so im not so close.

Overkill? Oh yeah, but I do enjoy it!

My brother or sister, what the fuck is up with those cables. You have one nicely routed set and a rats nest crossing over it.

Also nice setup. I had that for a while but changed it to having one monitor vertical.

lol, i knew id get ribbed for that. the rats nest is just above below my vpn router, and cable modem, on the right top side is the wifi router. Most of the cables connecting them are super short, so i just tucked them in the brackets

Have not actually tested that yet. Just guessing tho, cant say they would look better per-se, but would depend if they filmed it in ultra wide I guess

Out of pure curiosity, can I ask: what does this setup bring you? On top of a 2x27" setup or a 34"/38"/42"/etc ultrawide, for example?

i have had the sceptre for years now, its on its way out, and I got the 2 AOC’s on sale. The future plan is one will replace the sceptre, and second cause its nice to have a 2nd since I use it. Till the sceptre dies, im using all 3 for shits and giggles and I can see why folks buy ultrawide/superwide monitors

a couple of years ago i borrowed my brothers quest for a bit, it was one of the cheaper ones if I remember right. While I did enjoy how it looked, the framerate made me sick, even while sitting down! If i could get a hold of a new/good one, id try it again for sure

VR sickness is something that for most fades after 3-6 month of using. That and no matter how used to VR you get, those rollercoaster simulators are still barf machines. The newer headsets are higher frame rate, some over double the older headsets and it can help with VR sickness, but not as much as just slowly getting used to it. Once you do, you will be so immersed.

Thats on the list for the future. my first thought when stepping back after the first setup was “i need a racing game now”

I run a somewhat similar setup with a 1440p in the middle and two 1080ps to either side. Fantastic setup, and far easier on game support than the previous ultrawide I had.

Having just gotten a new monitor recently I don’t get the need for three monitors to play a full-screen game on when your eyes are one going to be able to see one unless your monitors are really tiny
