What they call „feeling marginalized“ is generally known as AfD supporters being entitled shits. Always have been.

I challenge you to give me one good reason why we need these super data centers in our lives that outweigh the cons. They put our health at risk. Let alone the insane climate damage from all these gas turbines running 24/7. There is nothing on the internet you couldn‘t do anymore without them. Quite the opposite. The construction of more and bigger data centers is vastly accelerating enshittification of all services. You certainly don‘t need super data centers near cities to host Lemmy.

I mean have you seen the electricity bills in some places? They‘re literally running out of power, water and money so you can generate slop of dogs riding tricycles. There‘s a physical limit of how many of those slop factories you can physically support and Florida has seemingly reached it‘s limit.

Right now I‘m enjoying premium family for free but if they start shoving AI in my face I won‘t use it at all anymore.
