You got the advantage of knowing and exploring your ND, and college is the time for that! It is not easy, and i’m proud of you. You’re gonna do great.
hope that you can get some rest. Going thru college as a masked autistic person burned me out for a long time.
Most surgeons do not require a letter to perform the procedure, but insurance wants one or more for you to jump thru their hoops. While I was going thru the insurance appeal process with a lawyer, they told me that insurance doesn’t even usually read the letters, they are just busiwork for you.
And no worries. These are important questions! Hope that I am answering them semi coherently. Brain is not at 100% yet
Unfortunately out of pocket due to insurance bullshit. I fought for it hard, but couldn’t get it covered.
It is getting more and more common for it to be covered, thankfully. It was simply unlucky total bullshit that mine was not.
We must close the girlyhood gap!

I got six procedures done at once. From top down, hairline advancement, forehead contouring III, brow lift, rhinoplasty, Genioplasty and jaw contouring! My whole face is very swollen

surgery recovery
Day 2 FFS recovery! So far, so good. Only breathing, eating and drinking through your mouth is quite challenging, but so far manageable. Never been more tired in my life, sleeping approximately 20 hrs a day. Speaking is challenging after being intubated for anesthesia for multiple hours.
Painkillers they prescribed me are making this not too bad thus far. Tis a long game of recovery though.

Lol bad typo on my part. My mistake. just got out a surgery yesterday, and my brain is not at hundred percent. Meant to type, “new pronouns unlocked!”
So far so good. Better than I expected, save for the first inpatient night.
