Btw Wunderwaffen is the plural, wonder weapon would be Wunderwaffe
I use piefed and Lemmy (mainly piefed) with Blorp. It has the features I want (eg peertube embeds), supports piefed and is visually nice
Timeshift is designed to only backup every few days (or however often you like), you just have to now at which day the system was still working. Sometimes the issue simply doesn’t appear when trying again, sometimes it’s not an error with your system so if you wait a newer update can be installed
Not sure if that’s as necessary with a atomic distro
Yeah heroic is very similar. Bazzite officially recommend Heroic for Epic, GOG and Amazon and Lutris for everything else, but Heroic has a simpler experience imo
For installing games i recommend looking at protondb, it will show you if a game will run/what fixes it needs. Where are you getting your games from? For I steam you should have a good experience with the official client, for Epic/GOG/Amazon I recommend Heroic (though lutris is fine too). If you use a other launcher your experience will be probably be suboptimal.
Bazzite is based on Fedora Atomic, so you will probably not be interacting with that part of the system at all. The official Bazzite docs are pretty good for general stuff, I also found gardiner bryants guide(s) to be helpful for getting started. If you have questions here is [email protected], however it’s not that active so I’d post to a more general linux community aswell
Ich hab gerade mal geguckt, ich finde den Sender jetzt (clinkemusik geschrieben). Hat vielleicht nur bisschen gebraucht bis die ihren Index aktualisiert haben
You’re the one fixing the bugs, I’m just using the app
If you implement the turning of features thing maybe implement it so it works both ways, so piefed specific features could be added to Blorp sometime in the future
I’ll do that tomorrow (or whenever that is in your timezone). blorpblorp.xyz has the latest version right (not TestFlight)?
I found another Piefed bug, when searching from a community it returns results for all communities instead of just that one
Ist aber (wie beim grünen Kapitalismus auch) halt meist nur washing. Die Unternehmen feiern Pride, stellen dich aber nicht ein wenn du they/them Pronomen nutzt
I recently switched to Blorp. It’s still somewhat early in development, but overall is really nice.
Btw the Blorp issue should be resolved (check if your running 1.9.16)
If you want DNS filters you can use Mullvad DNS which is free, privat, doesn’t require a app and can be used together with uBlock lite
Btw is it correct that in your inbox it says “replied to your comment” no matter is it’s a comment or post?
I assume 99% of Lemmy users have and adblocker
Ist immer noch Rainbowcapitalism, ich bezweifle dass das Unternehmen das aus einem anderen Grund macht als das es davon ausgeht so mehr Gewinn zu machen
Nein, so was soll recht gängig sein. Empfehlenswertes Video (Englisch): https://youtu.be/06yy88tLWlg
If you do migrate the community I’d go with lemmy.zip. It federates with pretty much anything that isn’t illegal (lemmy.zip de federation vs lemmy.ml and lemmy.world), I don’t think anyone blocks it (there are some people who block lemmy.world), it appears financially stable according to their reports, it has been around for sometime (not the oldest, but not new), it hosts a blorp instance and hasn’t had (to my knowledge) any controversial administrative decisions.
That being said, I personally don’t care if the community is on .ml, I’d probably just wait till piefed is more established and then reconsider (especially since it has a move community function).
On an unrelated note I think there is a typo in the GitHub readme, the last word is “ap” not “app”
