I’m still upset about what they did to Jorgensen in 2020. If they hadn’t retroactively banned her from participating in the debates she may have actually had a chance at the seat.

We had a chance to put Jorgensen in 2020 and we blew that too. Could have avoided this whole mess if you ask me. Probably the last actually qualified candidate I’ve seen since probably FDR.

Two other industries that are gonna take a big hit: trucking and oil. Seriously. Both industries have a large (estimated) number of undocumented individuals working within them. It’s gonna be hard to “drill baby drill” when you just deported half the drill crews…

It’s a matter of finding where the line between cost and user satisfaction meet.

Like sure you could limit all videos to 60fps @ 720p or 30fps @ 1080p but most everyone now wants everything 120fps @ 2160p which takes up dozens of gigs per video and eats up bandwidth.

It’s great because nobody can figure out who may be doing it.

Chicken products in general will likely increase in price. I used to live in an area that was predominantly chicken farms and had several Tyson processesing plants. I’d wager at least 60% of the workers both on the farms and in the plants were undocumented.

I think a big part of that is just straight up storage space, more specially a lack thereof. Google won’t release specifics but estimates put the total data stored by YouTube at somewhere near an exabyte (1 million terrabytes). Most of which is made up by video files.

Of course that’s just issue number 1 of many to figure out.

Yea peertube is rough… Mostly in part due to, in my opinion at least, people wanting to make use of YouTube’s ad revenue system even tho most creators I watch making most of their income via donations rather than ad revenue.

And extreme toxicity to the point that it drives everyone away from them so they just start with some Olympic level mental gymnastics to explain why it’s not their fault people hate them.
