  • If you have admin capabilities on your home router, look into ad blocking DNS servers. Not kidding, with 5 minutes of work, you and everyone else’s devices in the entire home will no longer see this trash.

    Easy as:

    • Opening your router config (should be on the bottom of your router, or just go to your wifi settings and paste the “Gateway” IP into your web browser)
    • Find an option that mentions your DHCP server
    • There should be a box that says “DNS Server” that’s likely blank
    • Paste in an IP address of a public ad-blocking DNS server (such as AdGuard’s; 94.140.14.14)
    • Save and restart

    Done. You can go even crazier with a Pi-Hole and manage your own lists of domains you want to entirely block.
