  • So, like, from Satanyahu’s point of view, this is the time to accept a ceasefire and hostage deal right?

The whole personal point of continuing the wars for him is that he’s in trouble with the law and a lot of people didn’t like him, but now with these successes in Lebanon his party is leading the polls again, and the AJ+ guy on the latest chapo said that (and this was BEFORE killing Nasrallah) he was the most popular politician in Israel again, so if he starts moving towards accepting a ceasefire while he’s a ugh “”“hero”“” to israelis won’t that mean they’ll think twice before prosecuting the man who “saved northern israel”?

  • I switched from subs to dubs (whenever the option is available) years ago and a this point I couldn’t tell you there’s any difference in “quality”, it’s just a different way of watching the show, do you want to watch a show where people speak like cartoon characters but you don’t recognize it because you don’t speak the language and also you gotta read subtitles or do you want to watch a show where people speak like cartoon characters and you can recognize it because you speak english and it will be cringe until it’s not anymore.

Anyway Delicious in Dungeon was really good, Frieren I didn’t watch but I saw that they gave her a deep voice in the dub and that’s 10000% better than a young sounding voice for that character. Cowboy Bebop is famous for it’s superior dub. If you liked Dragon Ball you can pick one of the modern Fight/Battle animes like Demon Slayer, JJK or Mha.

There’s “March comes in like a lion” which is a drama about a kid who plays Shogi, which also has a great dub

  • The left won but it didn’t have an absolute majority, not even close, macron got second place and the far right got third. Ultimately, the president has to appoint a prime-minister (a government) to be approved by the parliament.

How it usually goes in france is that even if the president is not of the same party as the largest party in parliament, he’ll still appoint a PM from that party and you have what’s called “co-habitation” between the president and government sharing power.

Macron instead of doing that made a deal with the far-right to get their votes in appointing a center-right (not from the far-right party) prime-minister instead. So, ultimately yeah he probably has the right to do that legally but when you see people calling that outrageous they’re making a political statement that macron preferred to share power with the far right than with the left
