Sorry, not my cup of tea. I need my acre of grass and view of water and mountains. But it’s a good photo.
All of Australia seems like Mother Earth’s way of saying “fuck around and find out”.
Oof… Post mortem, even. Like a final ultimate humiliation to punish you for this utterly stupid endeavour.
You seem to have a lot of rage that needs to be let out, so I guess discussing this like an adult is pointless. In the matter of politics, we’re basically on the same side. However, I often see the kind of people who aren’t helping the cause, and you are certainly among them. Instead of trying to make an enemy out of everyone around you, try to win friends instead. Enemies will raise their defences, friends will listen to what you have to say.
If you’re the one doing this in a last-minute meeting at 5pm on a Friday, just don’t.
Good job on trying to look like the smartest guy in the room, but in reality making yourself look like a donkey.
This cat person forces open one eye to half squint at 5:30AM because the orange braincell is desperately crying out for food. He caught a glimpse of the bottom of the bowl between the kibbles in there, and it was very upsetting.

Public Health@mander.xyz•Sweden hits smoke-free goal of under five per cent daily smokers: report
1·7 天前I was about to say the same thing. Norway is also overflowing with snus (much of it from Sweden), and I don’t think it brings any significant health benefits compared to smoking.
The problem with that is an old doctrine called MAD, or Mutually Assured Destruction. It’s the cornerstone of nuclear weapons capability and those weapons’ purpose of never being used. If NATO was to attack Russia and give Putin reason to believe that his regime or Russian sovereignty was under threat, they would launch their weapons. That’s not my opinion, that’s Russian doctrine. This would immediately trigger counterattacks from the US and the UK, most likely also France, which would then most likely trigger preemptive attacks from China and North Korea, defending their interests in the Pacific and South East Asia. Yes, a NATO army could march into Moscow by tomorrow, but there’s a very good reason they won’t do it.
Umm, I’m not American. Try not to draw too many conclusions about other people based on a single paragraph.
The “feckless NATO cowards” are doing everything in their power to prevent nuclear war. The Russians have constantly been threatening the entire rest of the world with that since they obtained nuclear weapons, but currently they seem more willing to make good on those threats if it serves their purpose. The difference between the height of the Cold War and now is that people could talk with eachother back then. There was still a rules-based order and a certain decorum. All of that is gone now, communications have almost completely collapsed, and the line between minor provocations and fatal misunderstanding or mistake grows ever thinner.
I believe what he meant was unfettered capitalism. Norway is also a capitalist country, but with far stricter regulation and higher rate of state ownership than the US.
They’re stretching the rubber band. Minor provocations to see if there will be a response. Any given response will be reported in Russia as NATO aggression, bringing Putin’s obedient sheep closer together.
People claim that Norway is expensive, but I have to object. Food prices in the US are shocking, and then you get the added shock of sales tax and obligatory tips at the end of the meal. I find it less stressful to eat out in Norway than in the US, even though the food and service here can often be disappointing.
One of the reasons subtitles have become so popular, along with the dialogue being mixed so that it’s damn near impossible to hear– GIANT EXPLOSIOOOON
