But you removed optical audio, USB C and/or thunderbolt, and chose the 1G ethernet over 2.5G.

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•[Jeff Geerling] I'm never buying a Bambu Lab 3D printer againEnglish
2·3 days agoI’ve had an X1C for a few years now. My router blocks my printer from communicating outside of my home network and my firewall blocks the slicer. I haven’t had any problems. It sucks that the company is being shitty but they really do make exceptionally good printers. I’m glad Prusa is at least sort-of keeping up with them. I had a Prusa Mk3S for several years before I got my Bambu, they’re extremely reliable.

A Boring Dystopia@lemmy.world•Data center "mistakenly" used 30 million gallons of water

Edit: I feel like people are misinterpreting my comments as defending data centers… Oh well

A Boring Dystopia@lemmy.world•Data center "mistakenly" used 30 million gallons of water
1212·5 days agoBy that logic, it’s not losing water, it’s just heating it. I’m not defending data centers but I feel like most of the info regarding data center water consumption isn’t accurate. It’s still bad, it’s contributing to global warming among other things but warm water doesn’t necessarily seem like waste water to me. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Again, I’m not defending data centers. I am personally willing to learn how to build an EMP and detonate it inside one.

Why did I think gold was more electrically conductive than copper? Apparently it’s not and silver is even more conductive than copper. The same is true with thermal conductivity as well.
