My previous pile of wood has reached its maximum height I think:

On @redlemace@lemmy.world’s advice, I stacked the new pile in a criss-cross pattern. It certainly is more compact and more stable, but also finding adequately-sized logs to make the pile grow straight is a somewhat OCD exercise that I don’t care that much for.

Also, my pile doesn’t look as nice as in other people’s photos 🙂 But hey, it’s functional.

    Nice wooding.

    But those pretty trees are ridiculously uniformly coated with snow (prob the constant wind).

      No wind, but plenty of diamond dust this year. It hasn’t snowed in 4 weeks, yet I have to clear the driveway every 3 days just because of the diamond dust.
