Russia strongly condemns the United States' actions in Venezuela and the seizure of the country’s president, Nicolas Maduro, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu said on Wednesday.
Pure projection. That is the US’s MO. Russia supports the socialist and progressive Cuban government against US backed far right gusanos trying to overthrow it. They support the Venezuelan government against a violent US backed far right. They support the socialist governments of China and Vietnam. They support the anti-colonial governments of Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso.
So why didn’t Russia do anything about it when it happened? And now they’re supposedly going to help Cuba against US aggression by doing what exactly?
The same thing they will always do: Back the most right wing candidate in the Overton window in a given country. Hope this helps
