I don’t think China is inherently a greater evil than any other huge world power. They’re more reasonable and considered than most of the others
China has proved itself very reasonable during the years, trying to avoid confrontation and conflicts when possible and intermediate where absolutely necessary.
I’ll be the first person to criticise it but I think it’s fair we start looking at other countries from their prospective and their history sometimes. China had a tremendous growth, dealing with the most populous country on the planet and becoming the manufacturing of the world.

Yes, I agree we should aim for balanced language studies and in general a balance between state and local culture, supported by the state of course.
My issue is that I don’t think people here are sharing and commenting on it for this purpose.
