Do you think organised-crime betting operators are (a) sad or (b) happy that regulated competition has now been banned?
Do you think that what ails Brazil will be improved by giving organised crime (a) fewer or (b) more revenue streams?
Brazil’s problem is not people playing regulated casino games. It’s that you can’t walk in the fucking street at night without an armed guard; this will NOT improve that one iota.
