Reddit users are called Redditors. What are Lemmy users called? Lemmitors? Lemmings?
How well are the Lemmy fediverses growing? How many daily unique users do we have on this service? Will we overtake Reddit someday?
What differences should I get used to over here from what I was used to on Reddit? Thanks in advance.
I sure hope this turns things around for me. Ive been really down about the atmosphere here and didnt want to redownload reddit.
Thanks for spending all the time it took to write all this out.
You’re welcome!
It will also help greatly to curate your feed. I assume you currently browse /all. Start subscribing to the communities you like, and in a few weeks you can start browsing /subscribed instead, just hitting /all when you run out of content or are looking for new stuff.
Additionally, don’t be shy with the block community button. Block the comms that you have no interest in even if you don’t dislike them. Nobody’s getting hurt feelings over it.
