My birdnet pi mic is on my front porch, but out my back window I can hear birds that the mic doesn’t pick up. Can I run a second mic on one birdnet? I haven’t been able to find a result when searching from startpage

Not a BirdNet-Pi user here and own 0 technical knowledge, but these GitHub discussions (#1, #2) seem to point at only one mic per RPi because the input on most USB audio sound cards is MONO. Looks like using a splitter function might technically work but could take a toll on the battery/processor or something. I think it might be better to set up 2 different BirdNet-Pis in your case. I’m sure you’ve looked into these already, but I tried to do my own research out of curiosity.
