They are different afterlifes. The Abyss is much, much worse than Hell. Oh, also the Devils and Demons are constantly at war on the first plane of Hell. There’s a portal there that leads to Heaven. The demons want to turn the rest of the planes of existence evil. The devils know that’s a really bad idea since it would lead to the destruction of all the planes of existence, including the Prime Material Planes, which is where all the mortals, elves, humans, dwarves, dragons, orks, and goblins live.
