      Politically and economically, yes. Militarily, don’t be so sure (assuming it’s not a direct attack on a NATO country). The risk of nuclear escalation at that point would be immense, and buttholes would be clenched worldwide. A firm and non-nuclear-escalatory response is guaranteed.

      It would be a very quick exit strategy for russia from Ukraine though, and putin would soon after have his gaddafi moment, with a russian twist.

      China remains a wildcard unfortunately.

        Yes. I don’t think nuclear escalation is likely to occur. Putin will likely be very quickly be served up on a platter by the Russian populace to international courts, possibly already cooked and steaming.
