Can you explain to me what people mean when they say “rules based international order”. I’m gonna look it up as well but I imagine a colloquial answer would be helpful as well.
When the west uses the rules based international order as a talking point I presume they mean using international law as a basis for how states interact and behave. The problem is that they mostly mean OUR rules based international order because the way it’s looking now states backed by the west seem to be exempt from the rules.
Some one else can probably give you a better answer that’s the best I can do
