      The problem I have with history teachers (at least from my experience) is that they tend to have a bias on how they teach it. I’d prefer that they just explain everything as is and let the students decide.

      A good example is this, the Marcoses. I’m so sick and tired of the Marcos era being taught in such a black and white way. Puros na lang human rights this, Voltes V that. Or if you’re pro-Marcos, infrastructure this, heinous crimes punished that. No mention at all of his complex relationship with the Americans or lord knows what else was buried because the narrative is always drastically on either side and walang middle ground.
