Here’s one simple trick that Harris can do on Day 1: Support the full inclusion of Palestine as a member at the United Nations. (It’s possible that the UK or France might veto, but the US has generally been the obstacle to full recognition of Palestine at the UN.) Once Palestine has international recognition as a state, it can start to benefit from international law, like the Geneva Convention.
