There’s a beautiful 20-year-old citation that doesn’t map to anything that he’s saying and seems from the abstract to be critical of microfinance as an enterprise.

Hillary Clinton and her ilk were heavily involved in pushing microloans. Pierre Omidyar, (was? still is?) a major investor in The Intercept owned a Microloan Co that had people killing themselves over the harassment to repay.
