I really wish that my love of privacy respecting technology could couple with my love of sustainable and repairable ownership respecting technology…

I know GrapheneOS leverages security features only found in the pixel, but a fella can dream, can’t he?

The closest experience I think would be getting CalyxOS (downstream from GrapheneOS) and running it on the Fairphone 4.

I’ve done this since last November and it has been a great experience.

For those of us in the US, the Fairphone is finally arriving. I agree with those that push for sustainability and repairable devices as this is another avenue that returns more control and ownership back to the user while also reducing the amount of e-waste that is produced.

If only we can get such a device that runs GrapheneOS.

    I also share this dream…

But the daily drivable Linux phone isn’t far away now. Looking forward to that.
