looks like three of them were original IP, one based on a book, one video game IP new to films, one film remake. seems like a reasonable mix of stuff to me.
edit: missed that white bird is a prequel/sequel. still feel like it’s not that egregious.

None of the films mentioned were sequels. Maybe crow which was a remake
