    Canuck here.

    Doesn’t the Posse Comitatus Act prohibit the use of military (other than National Guard and Coast Guard) for this purpose?

    I see they can be used but only if the Insurrection Act is invoked (might be other ways but that’s the one that came up most frequently in my searches).

      Presidents are now immune from prosecution for basically anything they do in an official capacity thanks to the corrupted Supreme Court. So who’s going to stop him? Even if Congress makes a new, specific law against it with dire consequences, he’s putting loyalists in law enforcement and the courts can’t enforce the law when the highest one will overturn any ruling because of that interpretation.

      But when none of the checks actually step in to stop it, then what difference does it make?
