        Not frunny at all! I was laughing in relief at the coincidence, as my brakes has just started squeaking, horribly. I use the headlight fluid, it really softens the plumbus so the photons have maxistreal laminar exfusion, which is much safer for night driving. /s

      I mean, all of the moving parts involved outside of the friction brake portion do usually need lubrication. Usually a silicone or molybdenum based lubricant depending on where it’s used. I use silicone for the slide pins inside the caliper and moly grease for between the pads and the caliper brackets and backing plates
