i lean more towards black, death and doom metal even though my fashion and aesthetic is definitely way more goth than metalhead. goth fashion is just so more high femme aesthetics
at least you listen to some of the music…
As someone who’s in the dark alternative scene, it’s disappointing that while the aesthetics are very popular nowadays - the music isn’t.
for sure, i think the music is more important than the fashion. dark and alternate describes 90% of what i listen to even though it doesn’t necessarily belong to the goth scene. if i had to give up either my wardrobe or my record collection I’d say bye bye clothes in an instant
