Picked up a few issues of the Poison Ivy run at the bargain bin at my comic shop and it’s rapidly becoming one of my favorite series. I was initially wary about it due to Poison Ivy’s ecofascist tendencies, but this series addresses that magnificently (even having her have an internal monologue about how blaming all of humanity for the actions of the rich and powerful was lazy, citing indigenous people living harmoniously with nature), and generally feels like it was written by someone who’s genuinely progressive. Also, it has an entire issue that’s nothing but lesbian fanservice.
