The Ivy League-educated suspect is accused of gunning down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a midtown Manhattan sidewalk.
If he’s guilty we have the truth already. I just find it very strange that he intentionally allowed himself to get caught.
Although I’ve heard that his family has a history of mental illness so I suppose that could theoretically account for that.
I don’t think mental illness necessarily factors into his being caught.
I do lean towards Luigi Mangione being guilty however the subject of his guilt I think is less important than the public outcry against health insurance companies and their abuses against the American people.
Also if he’s guilty that doesn’t mean we have the whole truth. NYPD especially have a history of interfering with investigations.
