Huawei have undertaken the ambitious goal to create a brand new operating system. Even more impressive is that they are creating a universal OS to run on devices from micro controllers, to phones, TVs, desktop computers and even cars.
In China, this new OS is called Hongmeng; outside China it is called Harmony OS . (You might have also come across references to “Harmony OS Next”. This refers to the upcoming release of Harmony OS .)
