Its always crazy to see the NYT sit on these liberal Op-Eds until the day after the election. Then spend the next two years doing the “You should have just tried harder” dance to credulous liberals.
It’s how they get subscriptions. 😅
They’ve been running left-of-center op-eds on a regular basis for years. The op-ed pages aren’t the top problem. It’s the rest of the ecosystem around them, which means that:
- most people don’t access trustworthy news in the first place
- equal consideration is given to meaningful content like this and utter lies
- important stories about right-wing malfeasance don’t get repeated again and again and again until they sink in
Fucking NYT assholes. Fuck them.
no worries as we will be back to fossil fuels any day now and years from now if we get someone better and they get us back to the hybrid thing folks will say they are not doing enough and let the bad ones in again. rinse and repeat. one or two steps forward and one or two steps back.
Well, we’re going to get something different in a few days, but I doubt it’ll have the effect you were hoping for.
