Riiiight. If they knew about who they were before, why weren’t they already arrested?

      There are two possibilities:

      1. It was leaked to the media that the government was planning “high-profile” arrests, and this might be part of that. The arrests were always happening but they publicized the arrests publicly to deter others seeking to break into the country illegally (which from what I hear has already been working).

      2. ICE has been refusing to arrest these folks, as the Biden administration has had a general policy of being pretty lenient towards illegal immigrants.

Possibility 3. These immigrants have nothing to do with MS-13 and are having extra charges brought against them for political theater.

Also, ICE could have been refusing to arrest criminals during the Biden admin just out of spite. If they had a murder case against someone, regardless of their immigration sataus, they should have arrested them. Only in the right wing fantasies would Biden stop a prosecution.

Hmm for something like a murder case I suspect that would have been handled locally, and many blue states have bad DAs who often refuse to charge detained folks even when there is plenty of probably cause.

Hmm. I’m sensing a narrative from you. Then again, I’m seeing a pattern with the stuff you post.

No DA would turn down a murder prosecution. It’s too much of a badge of honor to put away a murderer.

My mom just had ICE agents on her plane. Wouldnt say who they were, gave all the signs of human trafficking, until they let a huge scene with cops and everything build up before saying they were ICE trafficking children. Its begun already, they only had 3 Spanish speaking kids with them, no parents.
