Unemployment benefits will be cut off if you are unemployed for more than two years. A lot is unclear how it will be implemented but this sucks. This has an influence on my own job. It does nothing but shift unemployed people into government welfare which is lower, creating more poverty. It also doesn’t create jobs either so fuck this rule.

Nuclear energy is on the tabel again. The closing of the two nuclear plants we currently have is being discusssed and they want them to stay open. The thing is, they are now privatized by those same neolib parties and the French company running our Belgian plants is refusing to let them open as they don’t see profits in nuclear energy. This is the quintessential liberal mindset of selling of your things to private owners only to be held hostage by those same owners. Fucking genius ideology.
Budget cuts all throughout. Except for, of course, police and army, which will see a boost in investment. Because you can live in a tank, you know.
They are freezing governemnt funds to political parties, which is actually funny as our party is one of the only ones that manages to exist without them due to our number of members and their own contributions.
