So I’ve been able to finally do the installation but unless I use the firefox extention no i2p type pages come up and it says the proxy isn;t ready. I’ve tried all the recommended proxy scenarios and gotten nothing. I can’t even reach my router. With the extention it attempts to reach localhost :7657 but eventually tells me The page is not available. Prior to that on the initial screen it tells me the proxy isn;t ready. Do I need the extention? Shouldn’t it set up whatever proxies are necesssary or do I need to manually set up the proxy? I’ve also considered whether my firewall is somehow preventing the traffic, Any suggestions would be a big help. I want to use i2p , I don;t trust tor. Thanks
