I was recently speaking with a Chinese woman who works at this spot I go to and we got into the subject of security cameras.

She said China is safe because there are cameras everywhere but people are not free because they are always being watched. She said the US is free because people are not always being watched but it’s not safe.

I said China is better because in the US you are still always being watched on cameras and it’s still not safe anyway. She just chuckled and immediately agreed.

I think she just thought I would want to hear China bad, US good. Haha
