I’ve always been very drawn to the Thai Forest Tradition. I’ve been looking into it, but I feel like it’s not in the best traditions. I have met a Vietnamese monk who is a Buddhist and it’s very clear that he is not going to put me down.

I’m not sure, but he told me that he would go in and help him get the bamboo up. I’ve seen some of this before in Laos and I’d never even heard a word of it. He told me that he had a similar experience in Laos where he had a friend who just told him that he had never heard of it. We went to him and he told him to go along. He said, “Well, we’ll get back to you soon.” We went to his house, and he brought a couple trees (an English tree and a British tree) and we were able to climb onto the tree. We climbed up a hill and we are now going to the Chinese Coast. You can see our journey in our video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?
