NATO formally announced that Ukraine and Georgia would join NATO. NATO was threatening NATO membership until Trump showed up. I know the history, I am not stupid. The Russians are preventing a complete NATO encirclement. Ukraine is a losing war. With military support, Russia would continue to gain more territory, and drain Ukrainian manpower, all under the impression they would eventually join NATO. That is what Zelensky and his elites want, is NATO membership. The conflict is about NATO expansion, end of story.
