I don’t know what compelled me to check out The Finals, because I thought it was just another Battle Royale game, but I am glad I did because it’s one of the best, fastest paced objective based shooters I’ve played in a long time.

Though, it also has the worst desync and hitreg issues I’ve ever seen, and I used to game on a dial-up modem back in the day. The devs have recently acknowledged and even mentioned they found the root cause of the problem, though. So hopefully it gets fixed. I feel like that is the biggest flaw of the game and why it isn’t a top 10 most played game on Steam.

When it works, it’s just awesome.
