From what I’ve seen so far, his “image”, so to speak, and what people think of him, is of enormous importance to him. He’s your basic narcissist who thinks he does great.

Same goes for Elmo who singlehandedly destroyed trillions of dollars in value by now and then still says he does great, that people love him and that he doesn’t understand why people would burn Tesla, why would they do this to him, such a great person who does awesome things for humanity?
