I’m looking for something to introduce my wife to. Something light and funny. Not rule-havy, something that don’t really on knowledge of the previous episode. And something without a lot of stylized or archaic speech. We are non-natives, so we get lost when they go full-shekspearian. Preferably something with regulars from make some noise and game changer to increase the familiarity.

I know, there was “where to start” published like a minute ago. But I applicate your experiences.

Thanks for the help!

@Ideonek Despite the “where to start” video, if you specifically want to introduce someone to watching D&D for the first time, I think Dungeons & Dragons Queens is a better start than Fantasy High. The gameplay is even more accessible, and it’s nice and short (no 40hr commitment). I’d only recommend FH first if someone is already, like, *super* invested in the John Hughes mashup aesthetic and utterly uninterested in Drag Race vibes.
