Fr tho I believe the FOSS community, unified in solidarity with the rest of the working class against the regime, can accomplish some amazing things for the world.

I think it’s fair to say that one of the biggest reasons we are able to have the computing freedom that we have is because of OSS, and the competition it brings to proprietary software. It also allows for a varying expressions of ideas rather than centralized control.
The ability to have tools that can be audited by any human is the greatest tool against enshittification. By far.
I largely agree. This is one area where I think adoption of technology is a generally good thing. Communication and coordination using self hosted and open source software is how “the revolution” will be organized (opinion). The idea of truly local instances of all the things to allow for AFK community organizing appeals to me so much! I’m working to build a server I can do that with!!! Wanted a sticker to slap on its case XP
