I support the basic principles behind the movement but IMO the proper way to ensure that underrepresented groups get their chance is to address the problem at its roots - improved education, improved political representation, improved access to utilities and financial support and so forth. Hiring quotas are counterproductive. So I’m hoping that after the rubble settle and a new progressive movement eventually rises from the ashes it’ll have the opportunity to take a better approach.
