Also consider highland cows if you’re looking at cuddle quotient like with the grizzly. When they’re young their fur is so fluffy (sometimes curly) and it grows really long. Though, I don’t know about overall coarseness and you gotta be wary of the long horns on the adults, hehe. Though I’ve come across some trad pets that have pretty coarse fur and people still cuddle them, so…shrug
There’s a farm I have to pass sometimes with a single long horned highland in a pen outside the farmhouse with some goats and sheep, and I always want to stop and see if he’ll let me pet him. He looks chill.
