    If you pedestrianised it you only have Euston road running east west across the city north of the river.

    At the very least it needs to be open to buses, taxis and commercial traffic. I expect if you looked at the vehicles on using it, it would be buses taxis and commercial traffic. It’s been inside the congestion charge area for 22 years so it’s not used by people going shopping.

      There would ultimately be 0 impact to anyone by closing this street to traffic. The idea that this is the only way to cross “the city” laterally by car is frankly ridiculous and a non argument. So what? Take the Euston road instead, as you point out
